Putting in a system in place is of the utmost importance to a successful podcast show. Being consistent and recording shows ahead of time leaves for less room for error with having a set schedule when you release each episode. Matt Wolfe explains how they leave plenty of room in case of any guest cancellations or other hiccups, they try to have podcasts ready for release three weeks ahead of schedule. As for their key performance indicator (KPI), Matt keeps track of their email list growth.
